Mizzima misinterpreted a report about a demonstration by Arakanese activists in Rangoon on Sunday. In a headline and lead published on Monday, our story said the demonstration was anti-Rohingya, and the activists asked the UN not to assist Rohingyas in Rakhine State. The activists were in fact asking the UN and INGOs to stop discriminating against Arakanese. A correction was made on Tuesday as soon as the error was brought to our attention. Mizzima regrets the error.
