Chinese expert dies in Rangoon hotel

Chiang Mai (Mizzima) - A Chinese expert from Peking University died on March 1st in a Rangoon hotel.

Mizzima can confirm that the body found in Central hotel was that of Mr. Zhang Peixin, 47 years-old, who arrived in Burma on February 22nd to assist the Ministry of Science and Technology.

A police source said he suffered from hypertension.

However, the People's Republic of China is reportedly dissatisfied with the findings of the investigation and want to reexamine the situation surrounding his death.
