Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets with Thai Prime Minister

A Myanmar military delegation led by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, arrived in Thailand on 27 August to attend the 3rd Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting the Myawady Daily reported on 28 August.
The delegation met with Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha and discussed the Myanmar reforms process and cooperation between the two countries. The Thai Prime Minister also said he hoped industrial zones would be opened soon and cooperation would be speeded up regarding the registration of Myanmar migrant workers.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also called on General Prem Tinsulanonda, Head of the Privy Council of the King of Thailand. Their discussions focused on matters related to cooperation between the two countries for stability and development, Myanmar’s democratization process, and collaboration between the government and the two armed forces the report said.
