Music for Myanmar charity event to be held for vulnerable children

A Link for Aid charity evening called Music for Myanmar will take place on 22nd November to raise funds for vulnerable children in Myanmar and will star two international concert virtuosos, Irish violinist Héloïse Geoghegan and Italian pianist Giuseppe Andaloro.
“The concert in the Chatrium Pool Garden will be followed by a dinner, fashion show, an auction for a luxury river cruise and airline tickets plus a raffle with over $3,000 in prizes and with a special guest appearance by Myanmar’s Chan Chan. Thanks to our sponsors and to the event organizer -branding, marketing and events agency iD creative solutions -this evening will make a meaningful difference to the lives of hundreds of underprivileged children and impact on their families and communities.” said Link for Aid founder Pamela McCourt Francescone, from the non-profit charity which is organising the event in partnership with Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon.
“Among the projects that will benefits are the Parami Orphanage in Dala, the Mary Chapman School for the Deaf and the Nawarat Monastic School in Shwe Pyi Thar which welcomes children of any religious or ethnic background.” She added.

Héloïse Geoghegan, who returns to Yangon after her debut here in 2013, was born in Dublin and completed her Master’s Degree in Leipzig before making her Carnegie Hall New York and Wigmore Hall London debuts to great critical acclaim. Giuseppe Andaloro was born in Palermo and is a first-prize winner of the Hong Kong, Busoni and London World piano competitions. He tours with internationally acclaimed orchestras and conductors and is making his Myanmar debut at “Music for Myanmar” 2016.
