Future programmes for Rakhine State discussed

The second work coordination meeting of the Central Committee for the Implementation of Peace, Stability and Development in Rakhine State was held at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday with an address by State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi who chairs the central committee, state media reported on 10 August.
Those present made suggestions for the implementation of future programmes through cooperation among ministries concerned, local authorities and civil society organisations including problems and requirements.
The State Counsellor coordinated matters and stressed the need for having a priority list of implementation and improving cooperation between the ministries concerned and the regional government to overcome challenges through collaborative efforts, the report said.
