Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) Chairman Thein Sein said that they would announce their peace policy at the 21st century Peace Conference which would be organized and sponsored by the ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) on 31 August.
The opposition party chairman was speaking ata National Reconciliation and Internal Peace Workshop held at USDP headquarters in Naypyitaw on August 8, 2016.
Peace policies agreed at the workshop will be submitted to the party’s congress on August 20 for approval and confirmation.
