Anti-Corruption Commission signs joint statement with UMFCCI on fighting corruption

Myanmar's Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) signed a joint statement in Yangon Monday on cooperation in fighting corruption, Xinhua reported.
The signing is aimed at developing the country's economy and morality practice economically among private enterprises as well as curbing corruption.
UMFCCI Chairman U Zaw Min Win stressed that fighting against corruption can build a sound business environment that can attract more foreign investment on mutually beneficial basis.
He also disclosed that anti-corruption organizations are also being established in government departments as prevention against the crime with rules and regulations being drawn up.
