About 50 households evacuated after landslide in Mogok

Mandalay Region legislative assembly legislator from Mogok constituency Thaung Tin told Mizzima that five people were killed in a landslide near Aung Thit Liwn monastery in western Mogok, Mandalay Region and they had to evacuate about 50 households from the area.
Five people, two adults and three children, were killed when the landslide damaged three houses in Aung Thit Lwin Ward, Kathe Block, Mogok Township, Mandalay Region.
Employees from Mandalay Region, Relief and Resettlement Department will visit those evacuated and give relief supplies to them.
