Death Railway Museum opens in Thanbyuzayat

The Death Railway Museum, founded to educate visitors about the World War II-era Burma Railway, was opened at the site of the original railway in Thanbyuzayat Township. It showcases historic photos, as well as paintings, sculptures and 3D images of the daily life of forced labourers from Myanmar and Thailand and prisoners of war who died during the construction of the railway.
