An advisory forum on national reconciliation and peace in Myanmar kicked off in capital Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday, Xinhua reported.
"Without peace, there can be no sustainable development, no harmony and justice," State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi said at the 3rd advisory forum, organized by the Religions for Peace (RfP).
Suu Kyi also said that such kinds of forum helps to enhance the peaceful development of society.
U Myint Swe, chairman of the RfP Myanmar, called for the participation of all stakeholders in dialogues for peace.
