Myanmar producer Soe Arkar Htun (Kefka Film) was among the finalists of Myanmar Script Fund 2016 with two projects: "Saturday Born Aries" directed by Nwaye Zar Che Moe and "Mangoes Are Tasty There" (ex "The Returning Kid") by Sai Naw Kham, according to Memory Film Festival in a press release on 24 May.
 
Soe Arkar Htun is an up and coming film producer, graduate from Yangon Film School, Asiadoc Producer Workshop in 2017 and Busan Asian Film School (AfiS) in 2018. He is currently producing two short films and developing several feature films for the first time including "Saturday Born Aries" by the 2017 Open Doors alumni Nwaye Zar Che Soe and "Mangoes Are Tasty There" by Sai Naw Kham. This project was selected in 2017 by Southeast Asia Film Financing (SAFF) and in 2018 by Singapore Film Festival (Southeast Asian Film Lab).

Kefka Film Production is a Yangon-based production company founded by Soe Arkar Htun, director Sai Naw Kham and Khin Warso, producer awarded at Myanmar Script Fund 2018 with the project "She Called It Freedom" by Myat Minn Khant and observer at Open Doors Lab 2019). Kefka Film is dedicated to socially-engaged cinema, and believes in bringing about social and political change through cinematic expression.
