Chinese Ruili Airlines launched direct flights on Sunday between Yangon and Dehong, an autonomous prefecture located in southwestern China's Yunnan province, Xinhua reported.

Ruili Airlines will fly the route four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using a Boeing 737 aircraft which has a carrying capacity of 144 passengers.

It is Ruili Airlines' second route linking China with Myanmar following its direct flight connecting Mangshi, a border town in Yunnan province, and Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar in the central part on Jan 31, 2019.
