Four more COVID-19 cases confirmed

Laboratory results of the National Health Laboratory (Yangon) on specimens from a total of 55 persons under investigation and quarantined have shown two positive cases of Covid-19, and the remaining 51 persons tested negative.

Based on the disease history of the positive patient (Case-08) (a Tour Guide), the patient’s clients four French visitors were quarantined at a hotel in Yangon beginning 28 March, and their specimens were taken for laboratory tests on 29 March. Three of them (Case 11) (Case 12) and (Case 13) tested positive and will be admitted to the Waibargi Specialist Hospital despite no symptoms.
