The state-owned Global Treasure Bank (GTB) in South Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region was robbed on the morning of July 15.

Within minutes of the incident, armed military troops arrived and blocked the roads to investigate.

Global Treasure Bank is a bank which was transformed into a public company from Myanmar Livestock and Fisheries Development Bank under the Ministry of Fisheries and Rural Development.
