Kachin State CM casts early vote

Kachin State government Chief Minister Dr. Khet Aung and his wife J Kaw Wu cast their early votes on November 5 in the morning at Ayeyar Ward administration office in Myitkyina. He cast his early vote before the scheduled polling date November 18 as he is a over-60 senior citizen.

He urged all voters in Kachin State to cast their votes on polling date November 8 and said that his government had made all arrangements for casting votes during the prescribed time. Kachin State government CM Dr. Khet Aung contests his current constituency Myitkyina (1) of State Legislative Assembly.

There are over 28,190 eligible voters in Myitkyina Township and over 140 polling stations for them. Out of these eligible voters, over 11,400 voters are over-60 senior citizens.
