Residents said military council troops came to arrest Ko Lu Lu Zaw in Kadet Nge Htein village, Auk Yae Phyu village tract, Launglon towtship, Dawei district. But, as they could not find him, they arrested not only his wife and his two-year-old child but also his uncle.

A resident said that the detainees are currently at the police station in Launglon township. Ko Lu Lu Zaw had previously participated in anti-dictatorship protests but is now an ordinary resident of the village. The Dawei District Strike Committee said it may be that someone who has personal dissatisfaction with him passed information to military council forces to arrest him.
