Ministry of Health and Sports urges the public to stay at home

Myanmar's Ministry of Health and Sports on Thursday urged the public to stay at home and follow the directives of the ministry to curb the spread of COVID-19 outbreak Xinhua reported.

The ministry also called on the public to avoid mass gatherings and travelling if necessary.

According to the ministry's release, the ministry has been accelerating efforts in containment measures against the spread of the disease while monitoring the aftermath of gatherings which occurred during the recent election period.
