Myanmar's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday announced the further extension of entry restrictions for travellers until the end of December to curb the spread of COVID-19, Xinhua reported.

According to the announcement, the issuance of all types of visas and visa exemptions services will also be suspended until Dec. 31.

The extension will be applied to all orders, announcements, and directives previously issued by the respective union level government organizations and ministries, the committee said in the statement.
