On December 2nd, the car of a Myanmar Junta officer returning from a KTV was hit by landmines according to a spokesperson from Mon-Thaton Special Force(MTSF) talking to Mizzima.

The car carrying the Junta officer and another was hit by landmines near the SUNDAY KTV restaurant in Myay Ni Gone Village, Thaton Township, near Shwe Sayan Pagoda.

After the explosion, junta soldiers checked the SUNDAY KTV restaurant and arrested all the staff including the son of the KTV restaurant owner.

Mon-Thaton Special Force(MTSF) issued a statement saying they will continue to attack and destroy all groups who support the Junta.
