Myanmar's National League for Democracy (NLD) announced on Tuesday that it will continue pushing police to take actions over a recent raid on the party's Yangon-based headquarters since an investigation has yet to be carried out, Xinhua reported.
"Around 14 or 15 personnel in military, police uniforms and civilian clothing broke into the head office, did a search and seized documents at 10 p.m. on Feb. 9, according to the CCTV records," Soe Lay, NLD representative, told a press conference on Tuesday.
The party members pressed charges at the Bahan township police station on Feb. 10 and will push district, regional level police or Home Affairs Ministry to take actions over the late-night raid, said the NLD representative.
