Private hospitals apply for approval to give treatment and testing services for COVID-19

Myanmar's Ministry of Health and Sports will cooperate with private hospitals in treatment and testing measures against COVID-19 in the near future, according to a release from the ministry Xinhua reported.

Union Minister Dr. Myint Htwe announced the move at a recent ministry's meeting.

A total of 52 private hospitals have applied for approval to give treatment and testing services for COVID-19 and of them, hospitals which meet the criteria will undergo scrutiny by the government, Dr. Htin Paw said.
