The Military Council

  • According to the junta newspaper, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing sent a statement on 101st National Day, which fell on Sunday.
  • In the statement, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing mentioned that in the ICT age, reflections need to be made on cultures and ways of thinking penetrated from other countries and national characteristics need to be maintained.
  • According to the junta newspaper, the exhibition and competition of lemons, limes and oranges were held in Nay Pyi Taw and members of the military junta looked around it.
  • The junta media falsely claimed that (565) departments and offices had been damaged due to mine explosions and fire by PDFs.
  • According to the junta media, it has been peaceful and stable in Yangon Region, except for recent cases in which there were protests in some townships to hurt the military administration, propaganda posts on social media and some violent activities.
  • The junta newspaper said that weapons for Sagaing PDFs and related people had been arrested in Myawady and Monywa.
  • The military junta expressed their strong objection to the statements by the U.S and some countries on Friday.
  • Reportedly, wives at staff housing under the Ministry of Home Affairs were instructed to attend shooting training.
  • The special general meeting and 1st general assembly of the Myanmar Insolvency Practitioners' Regulatory Council were held in Yangon and present on the occasion was the junta auditor general.

The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • On Sunday, a round-table discussion- ‘Expectations of the LGBTs during and beyond the revolution’ was jointly conducted by LGBT Alliance Myanmar and Ministry of Human Rights- NUG as one of the activities for the week of eliminating violence against women.
  • Intending for Ministry of Health- NUG, AAC, the committee for helping Myanmar workers in Thailand, will organize a grand event for fund-raising and arts performance.
  • The NUG organized a round-table discussion on 101st National Day.

Revolution Activities

  • Argentina Court officially announced that they accepted the lawsuit against Min Aung Hlaing and the junta leaders for genocide on Rohingya people in Myanmar.
  • In Naungcho Township, PDF youth-led white-ribbon campaign on eliminating violence against women on Sunday.
  •  In a village of Longlone Township, women-led Rosy Women Movement against the military dictatorship on Sunday.
  • In Kanpetlet, there was fighting between CDF Kanpetlet and the junta army on Sunday afternoon. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died and 6 others were seriously injured.
  • In Shwepyitha Township of Yangon Region, youth conducted an anti-junta movement for a boycott against military products on Sunday.
  • In memory of Ma Khine Zar Thwe, a CDM staff member of AYA Bank who was shot dead by the junta army in a peaceful protest in South Dagon on 28th March, her family carried out an alms-offering event.
  • In South Dagon Township, No. (1) Basic Education High School Students’ Union led an anti-junta movement on 101st National Day.
  • At about 2:00 pm Sunday, there was gunfire at Thaketa Township Electricity Office.
  • Somewhere in Yangon, a combination of students’ unions from Dawei and Yangon disseminated a special newsletter- ‘New Generation’ and ‘Insignificant Revolution’, published by Dawei Township Students’ Union.
  • In Tamway Township, a combined rally of basic education students’ unions marched in front of Tamway Market on Sunday, holding a banner- ‘Uproot the military dictatorship for public’s democracy.
  • On 101st National Day, a combination of students’ unions in South Okkalapa Township conducted an anti-junta movement, hanging an anti-junta poster and raising their flag.
  • On Sunday, female students from Bago University led a movement- ‘Reject the slavery as a resolution of National Day’.
  • In Winyaw Area of Kayin State, a combined rally of women and students’ unions marched against the military dictatorship and slavery education of the military junta on Sunday.
  • In Thayetchaung Township, women-led Rosy Movement against the military dictatorship on Sunday afternoon.
  • In Longlone Township, women expressed their desire against the military dictatorship on Sunday morning.
  • On Sunday, Dawei District PDFs protested against the military dictatorship somewhere in the forest.
  • On Sunday, Mandalay Monks’ Union conducted an anti-junta movement, reciting Parittas.
  • Amidst tight security measures in Mandalay, Yadanabone University Students’ Union expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship and the junta education on Sunday.
  • On Sunday morning, a combined rally of Mandalay, comprising monks, residents, students, men and women, marched against the military dictatorship.
  • According to a communication person of Taungtha Guerrilla Force, U Win Nyunt, administrator of Thayaaye Ward in Kyaukbadaung Township, was shot dead at about 5:30 pm Saturday.
  • As a 294-day protest, Kalay people marched against the military dictatorship on Sunday, under the theme- Immediately stop airstrikes and killing the people.
  • As a 263-day protest, a combined rally of Salingyi North, Yinmabin East and Monywa General Strike Committee marched against the military dictatorship on Sunday.
  • In Nyaunghla Village of Dibeyin Township, there were a large number of junta soldiers with 5 military helicopters on Saturday afternoon. Reportedly, at least 2 residents were shot dead by helicopter attacks.
  • In Latbadaung Area of Salingyi Township, onion-growing women carried out a rural strike against the junta army and for eliminating violence against women on Sunday.
  • In Butalin Township, local people conducted a motorbike strike on National Day.
  • In Butalin Township, the junta armed forces set fire to motorbikes, in addition to airstrikes by helicopters. Reportedly, thousands of villagers had to run away.
  • In Pakkoku, local people and students marched against the military dictatorship and the junta education on Sunday.
  • In a village of Magwe Region, a rally of women and children conducted an anti-junta movement and white-ribbon campaign on Sunday.
  • Starting from 23rd November, the junta armed forces raided three villages in Saw Township. According to local residents, those soldiers destroyed public’s property worth over 500 lakh MMK and more than 2000 villagers had to run away.
  • In Pha-Kant of Kachin State, over 1000 people joined a protest against the military dictatorship on 101st National Day. They also expressed their support for KIA, PDF and NUG.
  • Together with internal documents of the army, People’s Soldier Captain Zinyaw claimed that prisoners of war who had been released by AA were arrested and imprisoned by the junta army.
  • Family members in the army, who do not want the military junta by Min Aung Hlaing and the military dictatorship, formed ‘Army lovers on the side of the people’ networks throughout the country and conducted an online protest on Saturday.
  • In Matupi of Chin State, the junta army regiment (140) kept 3 trucks of the public for labour by force.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Pha-Pun District under control of KNU, KNLA attacked 3 temporary camps of the junta army near Martaw Village on Saturday. Reportedly, there were still exchanges of fire on Sunday.

Summary on 29th November

  • Based on nationalism, the junta leaders are still planning for political and military affairs. As long as they are like that, they will continue their human rights violations and war crimes.
  • Starting from Saturday, the junta armed forces have been committing war crimes in Dibeyin Area, with helicopter attacks on civilians. Consequently, thousands of residents have had to run away.
  • As for Yangon, Mandalay, Dawei, Magwe and Chin on Sunday, they had revolution activities and public protests.
