Summary on 4 August

  • Despite their coup, successive military dictators have been empty-headed in their administration. In a technological age they have tried to rule the country with the ideology from the 7th Century. They crave for the glory of a good king and believe a pale coloured elephant is an auspicious white one. Judging from their stupidity, we can believe that the victory of Spring Revolution is at hand.
  • Even the Prime Minister of Cambodia, who used to show favour to the military junta, showed his disappointment with Min Aung Hlaing. He stated that the ASEAN 5-Point Consensus agreed by the junta leader himself must be reviewed.
