Summary on 7 August

  • Throughout their history, the military dictators have been enslaving junior soldiers and grassroots-level ones. However, it is not easy for them to cover up their inhumane activities and their great loss in frontline battles in the age of information and technology. So, they have to try hard to build unity in the junta army with the photos of military officers having meals together with junior soldiers.
  • The military junta has been creating various hardships for the public. Only after that, they try to act like the saviour by selling vegetables cheaply on the streets. They seem to think that they will gain public support with such propaganda photos.
  • In recent days, the revolution has been in great momentum all over the country. As Yangon Regional Defence Force announced that they would carry on until they could take control of the whole region, there will be more attacks and bomb explosions.
