Tax collecting offices of the military regime will be targeted as these financial sources are to oppress people’s revolution, according to the People Defence Forces in Bago Region on 8 July.

The statement of Bago PDF threatened security staff members of the electricity distribution department as they are following the orders of the military junta to cut power for houses in Bago Township.

It also urged the public not to pay tax.

The National Unity Government has also made a public announcement not to pay electricity bill to the the junta.
