A combined group of Chin National Army (CNA) and Chin Defence Forces destroyed two bridges on a road between Hakha and Htntalan townships, Chin state, on 21 October, to prevent the movement of junta forces into the area.

Timit bridge located about 3 miles from Hakha, and Tita bridge about 4 miles away from Htantalan were destroyed around 9 am and 11 am respectively.

“The road cannot be used anymore. It would be a disruptive attack on the military operation of junta forces. They could not enforce their forces in Hakha from Htantalan,” Salai Hete Ni, the spokesperson of CNA told Mizzima.

The distance between these two townships is over 20 miles.
