Bago Region Industrial Zone Management Committee released a statement that the factories in the region will suspend its operation until 30 April in the awake of COVID-19, state media reported.

Apart from those factories running for the State, other factories and workshops will be temporarily closed until April-end. The workers can receive the wages set by each factory; the committee stated.

Regarding the temporary closure of the factories, the committee has already agreed with the entrepreneurs.
