Fighting continues between Chin Revolutionary Forces and Tatmadaw

A clash between coalition force of the Chin National Army (CNA) and the Chinland Defence Force (CDF) and Tatmadaw took place near Thlanrawn village on the Hakha-Falam Road, Falam Township, Chin State on October 14, according to a CNA spokesman.

"Our troops went and attacked them to prevent them from coming out to Hakha. The battle lasted more than half an hour. The 268th Light Infantry Battalion, which was stationed in Falam township, fired 122 mm shells from the hill. Now fighting has stopped. Casualties of the Tatmadaw was not yet known. We had no casualties,” CNA spokesman Salai Htet Ni told Mizzima.

He said four houses out of 10 and a church in Ralti village, Falam township, were set on fire by military council troops on October 13, and a remaining six houses were set on fire today.
