Israeli Embassy provides humanitarian aid to Kayin State hospitals

Israel Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Ronen Gilor visited Myawaddy and Hpa-an in Kayin State this week to donate PPE protective suits for the safety of medical teams of hospitals in the state, with the blessing of Kayin State Chief Minister Nang Khin Htwe Myint, according to a press release.

The first donation ceremony took place in Myawaddy on 12 August in the General Hospital. The gift to the hospital included 100 PPE suits and the promise of a water purification machine to be delivered in September.

The second donation ceremony took place in Hpa-an at the General Hospital in which 100 PPE suits were handed over together with a water purification machine.

The Ambassador affirmed his commitment to Myanmar and a promise to provide humanitarian aid to the country, something his country has done over many years.
