Jaipur Foot artificial limb fitting underway in Myanmar

The Embassy of India in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), Jaipur, India and U Nu Daw Mya Yi Foundation, Yangon, Myanmar is currently running a 23-day 3rd Jaipur Foot Artificial Limb Fitment Camp in Yangon from 19 March to 10 April, 2020.

This is an opportunity for those who would benefit from these artificial limbs to be personally fitted by this experienced Indian NGO.

The Jaipur Foot, also known as the Jaipur Leg, is a rubber-based prosthetic leg for people with below-knee amputations. It is inexpensive and widely acceptable as a prosthesis, and as a result has been widely used in India.

This is the third time the organization has held a fitment camp in Myanmar.
