The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • At 9:00 am Friday, there was a meeting between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration and Extended Public Administration Teams.
  • In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, a winter sports event was conducted at a village school under the NUG on Thursday morning.
  • U Min Ko Naing, one of the 88 Generation Student Leaders, called for local and international support for Paletwa in Chin State, a strategically-important area as well as an area with needs and hardships.

Revolution Activities

  • In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, local people marched for the end of the military dictatorship on Saturday.
  • In Kantbalu Township, the junta army set fire to Shangone Village starting from 6:30 am Saturday.
  • In Shwebo, there was an attack on the junta army taking security measures in front of Myanmar’s Economic Bank at 11:30 am Saturday. Reportedly, a junta soldier died and no less than 3 others were injured.
  • In Kawlin Township, there was a remote mine explosion near the door of the local court at about 9:00 am Friday. Reportedly, the junta associate judge died and 3 other people were injured.
  • In Salingyi Township, local PDFs arrested those selling junta army products including beer on Friday.
  • In Sagaing Township, there was an attack using 60mm and 40mm grenades on a Pyusawti Camp in Maletaw Village at 5:45 pm Friday.
  • In Ye-U Township, the junta army conducted an air strike using an MI35 on Sithamyay Village for no apparent reason at 10:00 am Friday. Reportedly, 3 people lost lives, including the owner of Ahman Thit Private School.
  • In Shwebo Township, there was an attack on the junta army stationed in Myinsi Village on Friday.
  • In Wetlet Township, the junta army burnt Sheinmakar Village on Friday night.
  • In Salingyi Township, two junta police members were arrested for investigation on their way back from buying alcohol on the evening of 7 November. As they tried to fight back, they were reportedly shot dead.
  • In Taze Township, there were 3 battles between the junta army and PDFs on Friday alone. Reportedly, no less than 16 junta soldiers died.
  • In Myaung Township, the junta army set fire to Parainma Village with over 2000 houses starting from Saturday afternoon.
  • In Htigyaint Township, the junta army burnt Kyettharechaung Village at 1:20 pm Friday. Consequently, 15 houses were burnt to ashes.
  • On Friday, Pale Township General Strike and local people marched against the military dictatorship, raising banners - ‘Let go of the fruitless ASEAN 5-Point Consensus’.
  • On Saturday, youth from Yangon Strike Committee hung an anti-junta banner - ‘There will never be justice as long as the law is enslaved under the military junta’.
  • Somewhere in Yangon on Saturday, youth conducted a campaign calling on ASEAN to stop upholding the fruitless 5-Point Consensus and object to the junta’s 2023 Election.
  • Starting from Friday, Yangon General Strike led ‘Failed Law’ movements at some places in the city.
  • In South Okkalapa Township of Yangon Region, God Hand Force conducted an explosion in a tea-shop on Thitsar Road in Ward (6) at about 5:30 pm Thursday upon the information that an important member of the military junta had been there.
  • The communication person of Yangon UG Association called on Myanmar’s Royal Dragon Army Yangon to officially give testimony for claiming that they had carried out two military operations under People’s Hands Project.
  • In Madayar Township of Mandalay Region, the junta administrator of Bawdi Village was shot dead on Friday while he was sitting in a liquor shop.
  • In Ngazun Township, allegedly Pyusawti leader was assassinated by PDFs.
  • In Pakkoku Township of Magwe Region, 10 local PDFs would carry out an operation against the junta armed forces in accordance with their consensus.
  • On Wednesday afternoon, there was a grenade attack on the junta police force on the way to Pauk Township Court. Reportedly, a policeman died.
  • On Friday, Htilin PDF led a White-Ribbon Campaign for the end of violence against women.
  • On Thursday, Htilin YDF announced that they had resigned from Yaw Township PDF Central and they would keep joining hands for the fight against the military dictatorship.
  • Reportedly, 11 guns were donated to an alliance of two PDFs in Magwe Region.
  • In Shwekyin Township of Bago Region, there was a heavy fighting near Bawkahta Village on Saturday morning. Reportedly, the junta army carried out an air strike via military helicopters.
  • In Oatpho Township, Thayawaddy District PDF made a mine attack on the junta army on the way back from demanding money in Gyokoebin Village at 2:30 pm Friday. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died.
  • In Mrauk-U Township of Rakhine State, a mortar shot by junta soldiers fell and exploded in Kyaungtaung Village at about 10:00 am Saturday. Consequently, a woman and a child were injured.
  • In Kyauktaw Township, the mortar fired by the junta army fell in Shwepyithit Village at about 1:00 pm Friday. Reportedly, 7 local people, including 2 children aged 7, were injured.
  • In Sittway, the junta armed forces arrested some young people staying at Gandaryone Monastery on Friday night.
  • According to a member of a rescue team, more than 2000 people from 5 local villages have had to run away due to the current instability in Ponnagyun Township.
  • At the ASEAN Summit, the United Nations Secretary General stated that the hardships arisen out of the military coup in Myanmar have turned into a terrible disaster.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Mon State, a combined force of KNLA and PDFs attacked a convoy of 13 military trucks at the former tollbooth of Beelin at about 6:00 am Friday. Reportedly, there might have been casualties among at least 20 junta soldiers.
  • In Kyaikmayaw Township, the KNLA and PDFs attacked Chaunghnakwa Police Station and the bridge gate. Reportedly, 3 junta police members, including an officer, died and 4 others were caught alive.
  • In Shwekyin Township and Kyaukgyi Township under KNLA Battalion (9/7) in Bago Region, the combined force of KNLA managed to take control of the junta army camps Konetadar and Bawkahta on Saturday morning. They then continued their attack for Thanseik Camp.
  • On Friday, the Arakan Army-AA stated that they would take the most serious revenge on the junta armed forces including Ponnagyun-based Ka-Ma-Ya (550) for killing local people and the elderly in Rakhine State.
  • On Friday, the AA claimed that the junta army was just a cowardly force as they dare not face armed organizations and they just targeted civilians in their attacks.
  • In Moemauk of Kachin State, there was a battle between Kachin Independence Army-KIA + PDF and the junta army on Friday morning.
  • Chin Joint Defence Committee comprising 18 Chin EAOs announced on Friday that they would deter the military junta from preparing for the junta’s election.

The Military Council

  • In the meeting on Friday, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing said that a foreign loan worth over a billion USD had been repaid.
  • The junta leader claimed that they would focus on the successful completion of the election.
  • According to the junta propaganda leader General Zaw Min Tun, the delegation led by Russian business personnel from Roscongress Foundation had come to Myanmar under the special assignment of President of Russia.
  • The junta Minister of Defence said that 45 young people, who seem to be under 18, and 140 involuntary soldiers had been allowed to resign from January to October 2022.
  • On Friday, the junta Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Myanmar had objected to the reviews and decisions of the ASEAN leaders on the implementation of the 5-Point Consensus after the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summit.
  • On Friday, the junta Farmers’ Rights Committee announced that the basic reference price for rice was set to 630,000 MMK.
  • According to the junta Ministry of Electricity, they would carry out a mini hydro-power project at Paunglaung Dam in Nay Pyi Taw.
  • The junta Myanmar Timber Enterprise announced that they would sell teak timber to MSME businesses.
  • The junta Ministry of Information stated that since 2014, over 5300 printing, publishing and news agencies had been granted certificates.
