The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • The NUG Interim Heritage Management Committee announced guidelines and restrictions for 29 places in Magwe Region.
  • At 10:00 am on Wednesday, the Committee Representing Sagaing Regional Hluttaw held its third session. Reportedly, U Zaw Hlaing Thein, the MP of No. (2) Constituency, proposed for the allocation of 10% of tax receipts from a 30% rate of tax in their region should be given to CDM staff to help support them.
  • The NUG Ministry of Health announced that about 70 healthcare staff members had been killed and 900 others had been arrested over the two-year period since the coup.

Revolutionary Activities

  • The Foreign Minister of Singapore stated that the situation in Myanmar under the military junta has been leading to a dead end.
  • In Wetlet Township, the Basic Education Students’ Union conducted public talks about the formation of local students’ unions and against the military dictatorship.
  • In Wetlet Township in Sagaing Region, the junta army set fire to Moatsoechone Village on Tuesday night. Reportedly, they also killed a person.
  • In Salingyi Township, there was an educational funfair at an NUG interim school. PDF leaders, Monywa University Students’ Union members and a leader of Anyar Pyit Tie Taung Lay Myar attended.
  • On Wednesday, a combined rally of Salingyi and Yin Mar Bin marched against the military dictatorship, holding anti-junta signs.
  • In Ayadaw Township, there was a battle between PDFs and the junta army on their way out of Maletha Village. Reportedly, five junta soldiers died.
  • In Y Yin Mar Bin North, local people marched for the downfall of the military dictatorship on Wednesday morning.
  • In Myinmu, PDFs attacked the junta armed forces stationing at the Myanma Economic Bank and the No. (1) Basic Education High School on Monday. Reportedly, two junta soldiers died.
  • In western Madayar Township in Mandalay Region, there was a mine attack on the junta army. Reportedly, five junta soldiers died.
  • In Launglon Township in Tanintharyi Region, the Dawei District Democratic Movement Committee conducted an anti-junta public talk against PTTEP and PTT. products
  • In the Kanbauk Area of Yebyu Township, there was a lighting event in memory of the four martyrs, who lost their lives in the Spring Revolution, on Tuesday night.
  • In Ye Township of Mon State, there was a bomb attack using drones on the junta army Ka-Ma-Ya (583) base in Kyaung Village.

Ethnic Armed Organisations

  • In Kutkai Township in Shan North, there was a battle between the junta armed forces and the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) near Naungswe Village at about 10:00 am on Tuesday.
  • According to the Progressive Karenni People's Force, there have been no less than 197 air strikes in Karenni State in the last two years.
  • According to Chin National Front (CNF), the junta armed forces conducted no less than 115 air strikes in Chin State in the last two months.

The Military Council

  • Through the junta’s online booking system, more than 52,000 people applied for passports within 3 days. After, the military junta suspended their service for new applications.
  • The junta Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation announced that there the 58th Myanmar Gems Emporium will take place in the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw in March.
  • The military junta announced that more than 70 online gamblers had been arrested and their bank accounts containing 5000 lakh MMK had been closed.
  • The junta Union Election Commission announced that according to Section (25) of the political parties registration law, objections can be made to registration applications by political parties.

  • More areas have come under PDFs and defence force control. In such areas, the junta armed forces cannot stay for long and set fire to whatever they find. Therefore, it is necessary for the NUG to equip its forces with arms as soon as possible.
  • The military junta has been arranging to sell the natural resources of the country. This shows that they may be in need of foreign currency.
