The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • In the statement for the 147 th anniversary of Karenni National Day, the NUG stated that it stands strong with the Karenni people and they will join hands until the Spring Revolution succeeds.
  • According to NUG Deputy Minister, the Ministry of Labour will collect a list of Myanmar migrant workers in other countries at the end of June. Reportedly, they have been making an effort to issue registration cards.

Revolutionary Activities

  • According to court sources, State Counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi had a small birthday celebration with her team of lawyers at the trial on Monday.
  • At 8:30 am on Tuesday, a monk conducted an individual strike against the junta death penalty and the military dictatorship on Pansodan Bridge in downtown Yangon.
  • In Maha Aungmye Township in Mandalay Region, Myo Htwe, a sergeant who had returned from Yangon, was shot dead at about 7:30 am on Tuesday.
  • In Mandalay, there was a bomb attack at the University of Foreign Languages, where the junta army had been stationed.
  • In Shwebo Township in Sagaing Region, a rally of villagers marched for the NUG and against the military dictatorship on Tuesday. 
  • In Yinmabin Township, a military convoy was attacked with mines near Phowin Mountain at about 9:00 am on Sunday. According to the Regional Friend Fighters (RFF), 10 junta soldiers died.
  • In Kalay Township and Indaw Township, the junta armed forces were attacked with mines on Tuesday morning. Reportedly, 20 junta members died and many others were injured.
  • Kalay PDF Brigade (6) will hold a 14-day challenge from 22 June to 5 July to raise funds of 120 lakh MMK for an M4 rifle.
  • On their 467 th day of protest, a combined rally of Salingyi North and Yinmabin East marched against the military dictatorship on Tuesday.
  • On Monday, U Moe Zaw Tun, the lawyer for the Sagaing Regional Chief Minister, Dr. Myint Naing, was arrested by the military junta.
  • In Pindaya in Shan south, a local guerrilla force announced on Monday that they had assassinated the vice-chair of the township USDP party.
  • In Maubin Township in Ayeyarwaddy Region, the military junta has been persuading local people to tell family members, who have run away, to return home.
  • In Kyaukdaw Township in Rakhine State, Ko Zaw Win, an activist aged 40, was arrested by the junta army at his house in Pyidawtha Ward at about 10:00 am on Tuesday.
  • In Yesagyo Township in Magwe Region, the junta army arrested a railway staff member and a forestry supervisor in Hsinchaung Village on Monday morning, accusing them of having contact with PDFs.
  • On Monday, the Blood Money Campaign released a joint-statement with 459 CSOs from 20 countries, calling on the French government to prevent Total from paying 250 million USD to the military junta.

Ethnic Armed Organisations

  • On the 147 th anniversary of the Karenni National Day, the Karen National Union (KNU) stated that they would join hands in the fight until the downfall of the military dictatorship and the establishment of federal democracy union.
  • Through Twitter, the Chief Military Officer of the Arakan Army (AA) claimed that it was ARSA that had kidnapped two education staff members in Maungdaw Township.
  • On the 147 th anniversary of the Karenni National Day, the Karenni National Defence Force-KNDF stated that they would establish a state with full self-determination and that they would fight for the end of the military dictatorship prohibiting Karenni national objectives.
  • In Kyaukdaw in Rakhine State, the AA arrested three police members at a liquor shop in front of a police station at about 6:00 pm on Monday.

The Military Council

  • After the military coup, the junta armed forces dare not mention the ranks and names of forces for the funerals of their members who lose lives in battles or die of any disease.
  • On Tuesday, the military junta announced again that they would welcome it if PDFs and other organisations give up arms in accordance with the law and re-enter public life to cooperate with the military’s action plans for the nation.
  • On Tuesday, the military junta stated that they had taken legal action against seven people with social media accounts for supporting and sharing information related to the CRPH and NUG. Reportedly, they will continue with investigations.
  • At the junta inspection camps at the entrance to Myaungmya, the military has been recruiting and offering incentives of 10 lakh MMK and a bag of rice for each person who joins the army. However, no one has joined yet.
  • According to the military junta, a total of 66 PDF members have re-entered public life until 21 June and have been sent back to their parents.
  • The military junta stated that some unknown men had thrown flammable bottles at the Ywama Monastery in Insein Township in Yangon Region on Sunday night.

  • The military junta announced again that they would welcome various organisations including PDFs if they re-enter public life. They also stated that a total of 66 PDF members had done so. It is just a trick to reduce the strong power of PDFs in the revolution.
