The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • On the special occasion of Eid al-Adha on Thursday, the NUG sent a statement of best wishes to Muslim people in Myanmar.
  • The committee Representing the Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) called on the US and India to cooperate with more effective support for the NUG and democratic groups.
  • In their annual report, the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment- NUG stated that despite many difficulties, NUG Pay had over 28,000 users within a year.

Revolutionary Activities

  • In Monywa of Sagaing Region, Brave Heart Army conducted a guerrilla attack on a convoy of junta vessels leaving the Northwest Military Headquarters.
  • In Pale Township, the junta army carried out air strikes on two local villages. Reportedly, up to 10 people lost their lives on Wednesday evening.
  • In Sagaing Township, there was a bomb attack via drone on Nyaungbinwun Police Station. According to local PDFs, there might have been casualties among the junta soldiers.
  • In Wetlet Township and its neighboring area, there were aerial attacks via fighter jets. Reportedly, the fire brigade building collapsed and many junta members including a military officer were injured.
  • In Yinmabin Township, a rally of Shwe Nwe Thwe with strong determination marched against the military dictatorship.
  • In Chaung-U Township, there was an attack on 3 junta vessels carrying rations and weapons to Kangyigone Pyusawti Village. Reportedly, one of the vehicles sank and 5 junta soldiers died.
  • In Sagaing Township, the junta army raided Samoon Village and shot at a car of IDPs, killing one person.
  • There was a bomb attack via drone on the junta staff inspecting the damages of Kyone Eait Bridge on the Yangon-Mawlamyein Road. Reportedly, 2 of them died and no less than 5 others were injured.
  • Shadowless released a statement warning the four top officers of local private banks to stop working as financial consultants to the military junta.
  • In Pauk Township of Magwe Region, there was an attack on Pyusawti members on patrol near Thitchogone Village. Reportedly, 3 of them died.
  • On Thursday morning, Kyimyindine Networks (KMD-18) and Mayangone Democratic Front conducted an anti-junta movement, hanging a banner saying: ‘It’s our turn!’ at a bridge in Yangon.
  • Ko Justin Min Hein, the leader of Mandalay LGBT Strike, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Ethnic Armed Organisations

  • In the meeting for three days, the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee and the 5 EAOs agreed to some points including holding a peace conference.
  • According to Karenni Nationalities Defence Force, nearly 50 junta soldiers defected to them and it could not be confirmed yet the number of such soldiers from the BP-13 military camp in Mese Township.

The Military Council

  • In Hinthada of Ayeyarwaddy Region, there was gunfire among members of the junta police due to an argument. Reportedly, a policeman died in the incident.
  • In Thingangyun Township of Yangon Region, the junta armed forces took away goats and cows fthat were going to be sacrificed to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
  • In Mon State, there was an attack on the junta army and departmental staff inspecting Kyone Eait Bridge, which had been blown up between Thatone and Beelin. According to the junta propaganda media, U Zaw Min, the director of Thatone District Road Bureau, died.
  • On Wednesday morning, there was the opening ceremony of the Science Festival, jointly organized by Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation of Russia and the junta Ministry of Science and Technology.
  • The junta Ambassador Soe Lynn Han joined a meeting of the ASEAN-Barak Committee on 26 June. Reportedly, he took up the rotating chairmanship from July to December.
