The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • The Ministry of Labor- NUG announced that employment agencies are to register via [email protected] by 15 October at the latest.
  • On the Facebook Page of People’s Revolution Supply Family, it was written that they welcome those who will take responsibility for support and supply in the revolution, along with the members of the PDFs.
  • At 2:00 pm on Saturday, the Ministry of Economics and Commerce- NUG and the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration- NUG conducted a civil and military communication training for People’s Administrative Teams, People’s Defence Forces and People’s Security Forces.
  • In Yay Township of Mon State, an alliance of revolutionary forces fired shells at a junta camp. According to the PDF Headquarters under the Ministry of Defence- NUG, there were a large number of casualties among the junta soldiers who had to be taken away in two ambulances.
  • On Saturday, the Ministry of Defence- NUG stated that the logo of the Ministry and the signature of Union Minister cannot be used without an official permit.
  • On 30 August, Tamu Township People’s Administration announced that money must not be collected on public roads in Tamu Township in Sagaing Region.
  • In Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, there were heavy battles for four days between the junta army and a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) plus the PDFs. According to the Ministry of Defence- NUG on Saturday, over 40 junta soldiers died.

Revolutionary Activities

  • The ASEAN People’s Forum announced that the public in the ASEAN Region stand with the Myanmar people fighting the military dictatorship and they also regard the military junta as a terrorist organization.
  • At 11:00 am on Saturday, there was a grenade attack at the Mandalay Regional Budget Office. Reportedly, some cars and motorbikes parked in the office compound were damaged due to explosions.
  • In Chanmya Thazi Township, U Maw Gyi, allegedly a junta informer and motorbike broker, was shot dead on Saturday morning.
  • In Mandalay, there were grenade attacks on 9 junta places in August. Reportedly, 5 non-CDM staff members including a regional health officer were injured.
  • In Myaing of Magwe Region, a combined force of defence forces attacked no less than 4 junta stations at 9:30 am Saturday. Reportedly, there might have been many casualties among junta soldiers.
  • In Myaing, 9 non-CDM teachers were arrested and released on promises.
  • In Myaing Township, there was a bomb attack via drone on the junta convoy near Hninsikan Village. Reportedly, there might have been a large number of casualties amongst the junta soldiers.
  • On Saturday, Justice for Myanmar stated that the ASEAN Air Force Chiefs’ Conference, hosted by the junta air force from 12 to 15 September, is to be cancelled.
  • In some towns of South Korea, Korean and Myanmar people expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship on Sunday.
  • In Kawkarait Township of Kayin State, Saw Dragon Drone Force – SDDF attacked 5 junta stations including the police station near Kawnwet Village.
  • In Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region, a rally of Shwe Nwe Thwe with determination protested against the military dictatorship.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

  • In KyarIn Seikgyi Township, a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army attacked two helicopters landing in the compound of the local junta army station with heavy artillery.
  • In Muse Township and Kutkhine Township of Northern Shan State, there has been heavy fighting between the junta army and the Ta’ang National Liberation Army.
  • In Nyaunglebin District of Bago Region, the junta army conducted air strikes and shot mortars into local villages. According to the Karen National Union, the people from 26 villages have had to run away.

The Military Council

  • According to military sources, it was instructed to reward 10,000MMK to 100,000MMK to those who butter up the military junta and fight the revolutionary forces via a photo or 3-minute video on TikTok.
  • On electricity bills, it was printed that meter boxes will be permanently removed from places where the electricity bill has not been paid for four months or more.
  • In Salingyi Township, another fleet of junta vessels has been streaming up the Chindwin River and they have been indefinitely firing into villages on the river bank. Reportedly, local people have had to run away.
  • The junta leader said that despite their effort for equal development all across the country, they cannot develop some areas due to violence.
  • The junta leader claimed that they would celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement on 15 October.
  • The junta Central Bank has been preparing to reduce the quantity contained in a tical of gold.
  • According to the junta propaganda, the entrance fee will not be collected from the people who pay homage to the Maravizaya Buddha Image starting from 4 September. However, money will be collected for phones, cameras and car parking.
