The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • On World Environmental Conservation Day 2023, Vice-Chair of Union-Level Natural Resource Management-NUG sent a statement to the event.
  • On 2 June, Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) conducted a regular session. Reportedly, they presented about the activities of the committees and discussed action plans.
  • At 10:00 am Sunday, there was a meeting between the Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration-NUG and Township People’s Administration from Taninthayi Region, Ayeyarwady Region and Bago Region.
  • The Lower Myanmar Military Sub-Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG announced on Saturday that they, in cooperation with urban guerrillas, had conducted over 2,000 operations in Yangon Region after the military coup.

Revolution Activities

  • In Pulaw Township of Taninthayi Region, the junta army conducted a bomb attack via drone on Kyaung Naint Village at 7:30 am Monday.
  • In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army raided Kanthit Village at 4:00 pm Sunday, firing ammunition. They then set fire to people’s houses.
  • As a 809-day protest, a combined rally of local villages from Salingyi and Yinmabin marched against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • On behalf of donors, Wetlet Township General Strike Committee supported 11 lakh MMK to 113 displaced households in Magyizauk Village.
  • In Kalay Township, the junta army conducted an air attack through fighter jet on the school in Shu Khine Tha Village. Reportedly, one person died and 4 others were injured.
  • On Monday, a rally of Salingyi and Yinmabin protested against the military dictatorship.
  • In cooperation with local people, Monywa-Amyint Strike Committee marched for the end of the military dictatorship, holding anti-junta signs.
  • In Pale Township, the junta army carried out an aerial bombing on the neighbourhood of Zee Phyu Gone Village on Monday morning.
  • On Monday morning, a rally of Yinmabin North marched against the military dictatorship.
  • In Paungty Township and Yetashay Township of Bago Region, the junta armed forces have been invading some areas near Bago Mountain Range. Consequently, they have had fighting against the PDFs.
  • In Tandabin Township, the PDF blew up a bridge used for transporting rations of the junta army.
  • In Yesagyo Township of Magwe Region, the junta armed forces; Ka-La-Ya (258), Ka-La-Ya (257) and Ka-La (256) raided Tanchaung Village on Sunday. They took away the public’s belongings and burnt about 50 houses.
  • In New York, USA, Helping Hands for Burma organized 5 shows of the revolution short films by Director Na Gyi and Director Gideon Naing.
  • In Kyauktadar Township of Yangon Region, there was a bomb attack on Pansodan Middle-Class Revenue Office.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Lashio of Shan North, Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army and a PDF attacked the junta army and the police station.
  • In Mone Township under Karen National Union Brigade (3), the junta army has conducted more attacks targeting civilians. Consequently, the number of displaced people has increased and they have been in need of humanitarian assistance.
  • In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, the junta army Ka-La-Ya (2) under Regiment (44) deliberately shot mortars into Hlelamku Village at 7:28 pm on 31 May. Consequently, the weapons exploded and 6 local people were injured.
  • In Kyar-In Seikgyi Township of Kayin State, the Lion Battalion got involved in the attacks on the junta offices. Reportedly, they came into sight again together with urban operations.

The Military Council

  • According to the junta Ministry of Economics and Commerce, they would adopt the systems of Automatic Licensing and Non-Automatic Licensing for easier access of importers starting on 22 June, instead of 1 June.
  • The junta Minister of Information and the junta Chief Minister of Ayeyarwaddy Region went to Wah Wah Win Agricultural and Livestock Company in Nyaungdone and Maubin. They then inspected the fishery production and export.
  • The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing was present at the ceremony of World Environmental Conservation Day. Reportedly, he delivered a speech there.
