Acting Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe is sworn in and says he is committed to safeguarding the country’s democracy, but won’t stand for so-called “acts of sabotage”.

He made a pre-recorded address calling for all parties involved to join hands and leave aside their differences in order to help the buckling country recover.
