Three Myanmar junta soldiers killed by drone attack in Meiktila

Three junta soldiers were injured when M9 rifle grenades were dropped by drone onto Shwetaung Police Station in Mandalay Region’s Wundwin Township in Meiktila District on 11 October.

The attack happened at 1:30 p.m. and the killed and injured were taken to Wundwin Township Hospital, according to Natogyi People’s Defence Force (PDF), one of the groups that carried out the attack.

An official from the group said: "At the camp, there were about 40 regime soldiers and policemen. We dropped three Inaga bombs [M9 rifle grenades]. They didn't fight back, they just ran away,”

The attack was carried out by the Natogyi PDF and the Kyaukse Red Dragon Guerrilla group. All their fighters were able to retreat without suffering casualties, according to Natogyi PDF
