Myanmar reported 1,029 more COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the tally in the country to 61,377, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health and Sports, Xinhua reported.

A total of 24 more COVID-19 deaths were reported on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 1,420 in total, the release said.
