Nearly 200 junta troops have been killed in three months as part of Operation Nan Htike Aung.

74 military targets, 25 administrative targets and seven business targets in Yangon and Bago regions and Mon State were attacked from April 2022 to the end of June, as part of Operation Nan Htike Aung.

Previously, before Operation Nan Htike Aung started in April 2022 Operation Pyan Hlwar Aung ran from 7 April 2021 till 7 September 2022 in Yangon. During that period, as part of Operation Pyan Hlwar Aung, 253 junta troops were killed, over 300 were injured and 1,128 targets were attacked in Yangon.

"Currently junta troops are carrying out mass arrests in the Yangon Region, so some revolutionary activities have been suspended due to [the actions] of military informants", an unnamed source told Mizzima.
