Myanmar nationals in South Korea, collected signatures that exceeded the required number on the South Korean Blue House online website to recognize the National Unity Government (NUG).

If 200,000 people support or demand an issue on the Blue House website within one month, the South Korean government, the Blue House, will have to discuss the issue in parliament.

Democracy for Myanmar has led an online endorsement by the New Zealand government to officially recognize the NUG. The petition, which began on July 9 on the New Zealand Parliament website, is expected to continue until August 9.
