A Naga ethnic militia group prosecuted one policeman and two civilians involved in illegal drug smuggling on 29 July.

The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN) formed by the Naga National Socialist Council - Nagaland (NSCN-K) published the death penalty on 7 August for a police sergeant from Donhee area police station from Nanyun Township and two civilians from Shinbweyan Township.

The special anti-narcotic taskforce of the militia also said they confiscated 451 soap boxes worth over K 200 million and a car which were burnt.
