964 new cases reported on Tuesday

The number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 117,946 in Myanmar, with 964 new cases on Tuesday, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

Nineteen more deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,484 on Tuesday.

A total of 97,819 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals so far, the release said.
