So far 99,927 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

The number of COVID-19 cases had risen to 119,788 on Thursday, after the country reported 919 new cases and 25 more deaths in the past 24 hours.

The death toll reached 2,532 as of Thursday.
