Myanmar authorities have confiscated a large quantity of ammonium nitrate in Kachin state, according to an update from the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) on Sunday, October 11 MENAFN reported.

The joint anti-narcotic police made the confiscation in Mohnyin township on Friday, October 9.

Over 17,460 kilograms of ammonium nitrate worth more than 19 million kyats (USD14,733) were detained from a 12-wheeled truck along with three suspects.
