The Arakan Front Party (AFP) spokesman Kyaw Zaw Oo said that they would not take part in shooting a party election campaign speech to be telecast on state-run radio and television for 2020 general elections.

He said they had to cancel it after the Union Election Commission (UEC) censored the speech until its essence was lost though they wrote it following the rules and regulations adopted by UEC, he said.

A press statement issued by AFP says the UEC deleted the name of the founder of the party, Dr. Aye Maung, the party’s objective, constitution and future plans which had already been recognized and accepted by UEC.
