The Arakan State Army (ANC-AA) has announced that it has seized a Myanmar military camp with coalition forces in Myawaddy Township, Kayin State.

The Allied forces that jointly fought with the Rakhine State Army were the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), Battalion (27), Company (2), and a People's Defence Force (PDF).

The ANC-AA said that during the battle, the junta troops opened fire with heavy weapons, two military aircraft were used to fire from 2:40 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., and the Myawaddy BGF was reinforced with 12 military vehicles, so the resistance fighters retreated at around 7.30 p.m.
