Clashes take place in Shan State

The Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS / SSA) and the Tatmadaw began five days of fighting on February 10 in Hsipaw Township, northern Shan State.

The RCSS / SSA confiscated items including military uniforms and ammunition.

Currently, fighting is taking place in Hsipaw Township, and there is a clash between the Ta'ang (Palaung) National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP / SSA) and the RCSS / SSA in Kyaukme Township.

The RCSS / SSA claimed that a joint force of the TNLA and the SSPP were attacking their camps and the TNLA claimed that the fighting was triggered by an attack by the RCSS / SSA.
