COVID-19 cases among 15,000 Myanmar nationals sheltering in Mizoram

Mizoram is witnessing COVID-19 cases among the 15,000 Myanmar nationals who took shelter in the state post February 1, when the military seized power in Myanmar, The Economic Times reported.

A senior officer in the state who does not want to be named told ET, “Around 15000 people from Myanmar are staying in Mizoram. One such person had died in COVID Centre in Aizawl. Several people from among these are COVID positive.”
