The death toll of COVID-19 has risen to 2,507 in Myanmar on Wednesday, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry, Xinhua reported.

Myanmar reported 23 new deaths which included 16 patients with underlying diseases in the past 24 hours.

The number of COVID-19 infections has increased to 118,869 on Wednesday after 923 more cases were recently reported, the release said.
